I have been looking for a sight like this dedicated to yamaha die hards, lets face it we are usually the underdogs when it comes to popularity out in the white playground. One thing that I would like to see is a sight strictly for mods, projects, and setups on sleds pics and info on these projects and if the owners where happy with results or recomendations. Keep up the good work!

SX700 Porting With the porting that you put on your page, what is the carb specs and clutching specs. I have a 2000 mm that ported now and need this info. I had a Boost bottle on it and have installed a Vari-flow also. The pipe that I have installed is Power Inc. I do ride at 2000 ft and in the mountians at 7000-8000ft in BC. Canada Please can you help me out.
Thank You Brian
Awesome Site, Own a 2000 SRX 700 with many mods. Made the switch after riding one last year. Have owned 6 new Ski-Doos in last 4 years, and it was a no brainer after riding one. Bought it brand new this year, left over from last year when a dude backed out on all the mods he had done, bummer for him, bonus for me, just ask my grass draggin' buddies.
Excellant web site! Keep up the good work.
This is a great site for all of us yamaha nuts. The knowledge that is here is awesome!! I'm rather new at sledding and am glad I got into the sport. (3 yrs.) Keep up the great work.

hi, i'm from montreal, quebec just wanna say this is a cool site keep up the good work
Awesome web page, but get more motorcross page.
I THINK YOUR SITE IS AWSOME, HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WOULD BE ABLE TO ANSWER A FEW QUESTIONS. BUT FIRST A LITTLE ABOUT MY YAMI 2000 SX700R I HAVE INSTALLED 1) BENDER SILENCER 2) BENDER POWER SHIFT CLUTCH KIT 3) BENDER TS3 SYSTEM 4) TOP GEAR 1 TOOTH DOWN FROM STOCK GEAR 5) 168 1" STUD BOY STUDS WHAT WOULD CARBON FIBER REEDS/SPACERS DO FOR ME? GUTTING AIR BOX ? YES/NO AND WHY LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU THINK SNOW SULLY
Great site, I regularly check the message board for tips on increasing the performance of my 97 600 XTC. This is my first sled and have been a little disappointed to hear that it's a "pooch" in stock form (compared to the SkiDoo Olympic I rode in the late 60's as a kid this thing is incredible). I'm usually very brand loyal once I find something I like so will probably always ride BLUE from here on out. Gotta love that suspension.
great site keep up good work
new to site going to drift through . we race Yamaha in moto cross in Michigan. I have Yamaha parts. older .phazer ex also 87phazer, 90 ex el. start 94 ex sx for sale
Great site !
I am in love with this site. I think its the next best thing to cotton underwear. And if some one could please tell me a little about the Snowcross sled on the home page(is it a factory racer this year). and again thanks for the site!!!!!
Cool web page, Not enough yamaha's on the net. Still looking for a 2000 SRX.
cant wait to try out my 2001 sx700r first real sled ....Love your site after reading ALL your comments SEE YA ON THE TRAILS (unless yuo are riding less than YAMAHA)......SST
Yeh Baby, let it snow! I just traded mt SX700R for a 2001 SRX! Let the good times roll.
Funny I stumbled on this sight, and noticed a listing from bigmax, I had bought the sled from him a month ago. Last year I rode my friends 97 700 sx and srx. Impressive ! But I rode the vmax 4 for the first time November 24 at Tug Hill NY and WOW. nothing like Cubic inchs. I couldnt imagine this thig with a turbo(does anybody know where i can get one) Any great site I WIll be a regular. . Yamaha Keep The Faith
Great Site, lots of info. Stop by site weekly to check things out. Keep it up!!
Great site....
Nice, very nice site!! Just wanted to let you know that the old V-max 4 could spice up some of you're SRX-600's... I'm no fool, just love that extra top end. Try some of the helix components. And the 8-bu's are quite an eye opener when you steak by them on top end. If someone figers out something with a thousand foot set-up please let me know... I own a 99 SRX 600!!!
Nice site. Just what I have been looking for. The message message board is down and I sure could use some advice about a 1999 600 Venture I just bought. Bought it here in Texas and the dealers here cant even get me manuals or do any work on it. Cannot wait to get up north to ride!
I need modifications to my SX 600 to keep the formula 3 ski doo off my ass.
Just stumbled across this site tonight from another snowmobile site. What a great site!! I own a 99 SX and just sold a 94 VMAX. Looking for ways to make it faster on low end. It will be fun to explore this site!!
badass shit
Really like the site. Have been riding ONLY Yamaha's for the last 10+ years. The 2000 SXr700 I am riding now is the best yet. Just put Power Inc quiet pipes on and am adjusting clutching, etc. now. I'll let all know how it runs when I'm done. Keep up the great web site!
I took a quick tour through the web site, I thought it was very good. I own an older Yamaha sled and a Artic Cat. I will return to the site when I have more time to go through the owners reports.
cant wait to hit the trails, dudes
got to love a sight like this ! anything you want to know is here . wish i had a dealer like this near my home town .
this is a very professional looking website, and easy to use. I have used many of the tips in the message board and clutch from North Country Yamaha. It's the first place I turn to when I need a question answered. This website should be honored by Yamaha for helping thousands of owners to enjoy there sleds more. Excellent job Mr sled. Rk, Turk . A note to Turk, I've never seen anyone offer so much helpful, knowledgeable advice to so many Yamaha Owners and never get a dime for it . This guy should really be honored by Yamaha!
Love the site and love my 99 SRX700
Just bought 2001 MM 700 Love the machine
Great web page. Very informative.
I just found your site, and it's great to see I'm not the only one who loves my yami. Got a 97 XCT 600 and a 98 MM700 for my wife. I'm on the lookout for a Mini Max for the little one. Ride on!!
Great site guys!
Great site! Lets use this site to exchange the info needed to leave the other brands behind.
Want some extra top speed? Replace the original inner 14 degree sheave of the primary clutch with a 12,5 degree sheave. This will lift the driven belt all the way up in the primary clutch allowing the clutch to move to a higher gearing, thus increasing the top speed. Also shim up the secoundary clutch with 1.5-2.0 millimeter shims. This will allow the driven belt to go deeper into the secoundary clutch resulting in even higher gearing and higher top end speed. Expect 6-8 mph. increase in top speed on a stock SX700R, and even more on a tweaked one.
This trick applies to all newer Yamaha models with 14 degree inner primary clutch sheaves. Increase in top speed will vary from on model to another. On the Phazer we observed a 11-12 mph. increase in top speed.
Keep up the good work. GO BLUE GO
hmm..då har snön kommit å srv:n står å glänser på gården..det e livskvalitet
this is great lot's of info i have a 98 sx 700 just did a lot of work to it if any one has any questions just ask i'll try to help
New user of the site and it looks greeat! How long do you post the Message board? Maybe you can tell from the name but I'm a western rider from B.C. Snow conditions are approx 50% of normal but still the riding is alright if you know where to go. Gotta be carefull this year all you "backcountry users" as avalanche conditions are extreme in most areas. Two Yamy riders were lost last weekend in Northern B.C. Godspeed.
Great Site! Love the Yamis. Sick of hearing bout the Scrap Cats, Polaricks, and The Ski Don'ts. I have a 1998 xtc 600. I only have it studded & clutched. Ordering an SRX in the spring. Going for 192 Warthogs w\ plastic backers, skid plate, Bender can & traction rods. And RB Specialties clutching. Ride on!
Great site!! Is there any way to access tech info archives(previous articles)? Specifically Rear Suspension Removal.
Anything with the name Yamaha on it has to be rocki´n and I must say that this site is great.

Just picked up a 2001 SRX and snowchecked a 2002 Viper, so I guess I'll be moving from the Polaris page over to here. Haven't owned Yamaha snowmobile since the 1995 Phazer II LE, but the kid and I ride a Warrior and Blaster during the summer, so we decided to stick with the brand when the snow flies. I wasn't about to give up a triple-triple, and I luv those electronic power valves.
Best yamaha site i've ever seen. Yamaha should be paying you guys big bucks to keep this site going.
Great site!!!!!!!!!

Hey I am currently a Cat owner, and a satisfied one, but i ride with a lot of Yamahas, and i love them, and because of this, i am gonna buy my first Yamaha this fall, and this site has provided me with with a lot of info. If I get as good of machine as my friends i will be extremely pleased.
It is about time someone has a website, for people who ride real machines. I just traded my 97 V-max 600 XTC for a 02 Viper. Winter is only 7 short months away and I am counting the days!!!!Can't wait to smoke some ZR's and XC's!!!!!
Great Site! Love the Yamis. Sick of hearing bout the Scrap Cats, Polaricks, and The Ski Don'ts. I have a 1998 xtc 600. I only have it studded & clutched. Ordering an SRX in the spring. I never thought I would be able to see heaven without being dead!! There's nothing better that a site dedicated to the best sleds ever made and the people that really appreciate them. Keep up the great work!!
Mike '91 ExciterII (well tuned)-she'll still run with the big dogs!!!
I don't know what I would do with out this site, Id probably be blowing a lot of my money at yamaha shops paying them to do work, but now I just do my own with a few questions which get qickly answered.

I switched from a polaris to a yamaha becouse i didnt want to be left behind as soon as i got my sx viper all ready it was a bad one all jacked up pipes very thing i just started to leave ever one behind and that is a good feeling.
Switched from a Ski-Doo Summit 800 to the new RX-1, hope I don't or won't regret it.....

this site is awesome, i currently own a viper, i can't wait to ride the RX-1, i'm disapointed that they completely dropped the SRX its a kickass machine. My dad and I started riding yamaha 2 years ago and we don't plan on ever switching again. I've ridden all 4 major brands and the looks and performance of yamaha is the best. Keep up the great work in this site, and remember YAMAHA kick major ass!!!

Site is great, very informative and see that most everyone is here to help fellow Yamaha owners.
Great site-Steve Maureau if you`re out there, thanks for telling me about this page.Vipers RULE!!!
Great Page. I can tell you that I was a loyal skidoo fan untill this year. I saw the 2002 viper and new that was the sled for me. After ridding it for the first time I knew the skidoo era was over and I was tradding in my yellow for blue. I am in the process of making a deal on 2 95 vmax 4's that I plan to turn into race sleds. Thanks forthe great site and keep kickin ass on the trails!!!
I AM A DIE HARD YAMAHA MAN, HAVE OWNED A YAMAHA DEALERSHIP FOR OVER 12YEARS CANT WAI FOR THE RX1

It's a cool site, the new rx-1 sleds are sweet, I own a 1991 srv 540 it's a pretty fast machine, for my size I bought it when I was 14. I had it for 2 years and have had no problems, Yamaha's are the best I will only own yami's now. My next sled is the srx they are awsome. At the grass races I seen One role I almost cryed..

I think your website is great. I am hoping someone might be able to help me out with some jetting. I have a 99 Mtn Max 700 w/ Power Inc pipes. These are the old style high RPM pipes. I live in Minnesota and I'm not sure where to start with my jetting. Any suggestions? I know your not responsible for burndowns. Any info would be great. Thanks!!!
I will say I don't own a yamaha machine myself and never will. But you guys have one heck of a site. Great Tech section.
I can't seem to get in when I use my password. What gives? I have a 99 600sx and love it! Every sled I've owned has been a Yamaha . Great site otherwise
This is one cool website. The rx1 yamaha looks to be what all sledders have been wanting and they didnt even know it. Wow. Keep up the good work.
I want to make you aware of two problems I've had with my viper first is that my ski adjustment was off 2" the right ski was out 1 1/2 off your spec set at set up 2nd I've have 296 miles on it as of now and the same ski as no carbide left on it the right looks like new. The 296 mile where in good condition trials so the dealer say if the carbide broke they would cover it, well you tell me how I'm going to tell if it broke off when you can't tell at all where it was. So if you would please advise my on what and where this could be handle.
cool site, YAMAHA ROCKS!!! visit, snowmobile.pro.ie
